GARDEN TRACTOR PULLING RULES
WHEN USING BOLEY’S BULLY SLED
(subject to change at anytime)
**ALL DRIVERS MUST ATTEND DRIVERS’ MEETING**
Contest is open to all garden tractors, and modified garden tractors.
Sponsor may choose to promote to local pullers only, or limit classes.
Contestants enter contest at their own risk and are responsible for injuries or damages to others, caused by them or their garden tractor. Any contestant under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian’s signature. All contestants must sign waiver.
Contestant must pull position drawn. First puller is the test puller and may pull again,
by dropping three positions-if puller does not like first pull. Puller must let official
know before leaving track, if he does not want first pull measurement. No class will
restart after 6th garden tractor has pulled.
A garden tractor may be entered twice in each class (with two different drivers). Garden tractor will only place once in each class pay back.
Puller must start from tight hitch and must start and stop on signal from flagman.
Contestant will be allowed two attempts to start the sled, as long as sled has not gone
past the 25 ft. mark on first attempt.
Garden tractor must remain within boundaries of the course during their pull or be
disqualified.
Wheelie bars are optional. All weights must be safely secured; any parts falling from garden tractor will be cause for disqualification. Weight bars will be measured from center of the rear axle forward. Weight brackets or weights cannot exceed 80 inches.
Drawbar must be stationary. Drawbar can be no more than 12” from top to the
ground and be parallel to ground and have 1” hole or bigger, clevis may be used. Chain may not be hooked in front of rear axle.
No unsafe acts permitted on track or in pits. Reckless operation or speeding will be
cause for disqualification.
No bouncing up and down on garden tractor while pulling. You will be disqualified.
No alcoholic beverages.
All garden tractors will display their pulling position on front of garden tractor.
When class is to start, all garden tractors will get in order of pulling position. No
jumping out of place.
There will be two class divisions:
STOCK Must be stock in appearance. Must have stock carburetor, starter, & ignition.
MODIFIED - OPEN
Turbos and superchargers allowed. No wheel chains or studs.
Any modified driver using alcohol, nitros oxide, or any pressurized fuels must have sticker of use displayed on vehicle
All modified drivers must wear full faced helmet with shield and fire suit.
